Description

By the end of this course, you’ll have the foundations you need to begin developing and using best practices in the workplace including resources and approaches. You can use this to improve your existing practices or as the starting point for developing a disability management system.

What You’ll Learn

If you participated in Part 1 of this series, you’ll remember navigating the basics of disability management. You identified how to understand disability management and you developed a plan for disability management in your workplace. You may recall some of the benefits of implementing effective disability management systems at work. You took a look at your own company’s practices to identify opportunities for improvement. In this program, you’ll take what you’ve learned and apply it to a fictional company as well as your own company. You’ve learned a lot but there’s always more to learn.

Audience

This program is designed for leaders, managers and employers who want to enhance their disability management systems. Disability management isn’t just for large entities – everyone can benefit.

Course structure

Information in this course is presented through animated videos. These videos follow a case study to explain key concepts and provide opportunities to reflect on your learning and encourage action steps to implement your learning in your organization.

This course is intended to take approximately 1.5 – 3 hours to complete. It is separated into modules and your progress is automatically saved, so feel free to complete at your own pace.

How can I receive a certificate for a course that I have attended?

If you hold a membership with Work Wellness Institute, a certificate of completion will be sent to your email after meeting the requirements of the course or lecture on demand. Please note that a minimum 50-minute attendance is required to be eligible for a certificate of completion.

What is the difference between Corporate membership & Individual membership?

Corporate memberships are Corporate organizations that have partnered with the Work Wellness Institute to have access to membership benefits for all its employees. This membership includes additional perks beyond the individual membership. Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting are 1 vote per organization.
