Neurodivergent individuals have a lot to offer in the workplace, however, they continue to face many barriers to employment and career progression. In this webinar, we will summarize key findings from a mixed-methods research study on

a) what neurodiversity is and how it manifests in the workplace,

b) the barriers that neurodivergent workers face, and

c) how employers can begin to break down these barriers and improve the workplace experience for neurodivergent employees.

Speakers

Jane Hutchison, PhD
Jane Hutchison is a Senior Research Associate at the Conference Board of Canada. As a member of the Education & Skills team, Jane conducts mixed-methods research on topics related to education, skills needs and training, and workplace inclusion. Jane is currently leading a research project on how employers can better support the employment and career trajectories of neurodivergent Canadians. Jane holds a PhD in psychology and a master’s in public policy from Georgetown University.

How can I receive a certificate for a course that I have attended?

If you hold a membership with Work Wellness Institute, a certificate of completion will be sent to your email after meeting the requirements of the course or lecture on demand. Please note that a minimum 50-minute attendance is required to be eligible for a certificate of completion.

What is the difference between Corporate membership & Individual membership?

Corporate memberships are Corporate organizations that have partnered with the Work Wellness Institute to have access to membership benefits for all its employees. This membership includes additional perks beyond the individual membership. Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting are 1 vote per organization.
