Alison Collins will present the findings from a systematic review of sickness presenteeism and sickness absence, along with the results of two research projects to explore the outcomes associated with going to work whilst ill over time. She will differentiate between sickness presenteeism that is voluntary (people want to work despite illness) and involuntary (responding to pressures of work) and explore the impact upon health and wellbeing outcomes. The webinar will explore outcomes in terms of physical health, mental health, future sickness absence and work performance.
