Welcome to Supporting Employee Well-being Through Strategic Leadership. This course will focus on embedding core leadership practices and skills to maximize the performance and engagement of others.
The transformational leadership and servant leadership theories provide the foundational methodologies for the course. Both theories focus on optimizing performance by dealing with the underlying psychosocial factors that affect team members’ general well-being, such as clear leadership and expectations, organizational culture, psychological support and civility and respect.
This course focuses on equipping leaders with the core skills to lead others, utilizing leadership approaches that seek to optimize performance by creating environments that promote team members’ psychological safety and well-being.
