Welcome to Stress Management – Creating Healthy Workplaces. In this course, we’ll be exploring both individual and organizational evidence-based interventions that support employee mental health through stress management and workplace wellness.
This course is part of the Work Wellness Institute’s Harnessing Talent Project, which aims to increase the ability of employers and organizations to hire and retain people with mental health challenges, and/or physical disabilities, using skills and resources based on the most current global research.
Who is this course for?
When speaking about stress management and workplace wellness, there are two main areas of focus, depending on the audience. Many courses focus on this topic from an individual implementation level, such as how to control stress through various means such as diet, sleep, exercise, time management or strategic planning.
The focus of this course is on evaluating the need for stress management and workplace wellness strategies in the workplace, and how to implement and evaluate interventions in the workplace.
For this reason, this course is most suited for leaders, frontline managers and Human Resource professionals who have the ability to work together to implement needed interventions to assist their employees deal with stress in the workplace.
