Co-Host: This webinar is co-hosted by the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention, UBC Okanagan campus. Understanding and incorporating men’s preferences for and interest in workplace wellness topics and activities is necessary for ensuring men are successfully engaged in workplace wellness initiatives. Moreover, the perspective of workplace leads responsible for implementing such programs needs to be considered in order to create feasible and effective programs.

This presentation will describe research conducted with management and non-management employees to explore perceptions of workplace wellness initiatives as well as feedback from employees and workplace leads on the acceptability of POWERPLAY, a healthy eating and physical activity program for working men.
