2023 Work Wellness In Action Awards

Being a Leader for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) means more than being a supporter for a cause. A DEIB Leadership Award recipient for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging is someone who expertly uses their knowledge, skills, and experience to implement actions that build an environment of belonging for others.

DEIB Leaders can discern the biases and prejudices that are pervasive in workplaces. They acknowledge and interrupt their own biases and create intentional space for individual perspective and experience.

DEIB Leaders incorporate DEIB values and behaviours in everything they do. They challenge non-inclusive systems, practices and mindsets, and they find solutions that have a positive impact on people and culture.
